Acibenzolar is a chemical compound that is used as a fungicide . In the European Union and Switzerland, however, it is not approved as an active ingredient in plant protection .
The methyl derivative Acibenzolar- S- methyl (BTH) is related to Acibenzolar . According to the EU regulation on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin, only 0.02 mg / kg of BTH may be present in eggs, meat and dairy products.
