Adan y Eva is a Mexican Bible film from the year 1956 , of Adam and Eve as its theme.

action

After creating the world with plants and animals, land and sea, and stars in the sky, God creates man in his own image; Adam arises . After everything is new and unfamiliar to him at first, he feels more and more comfortable in paradise. Adam lacks nothing; God merely forbids him to taste the fruits of the tree of knowledge .

But with time Adam felt lonely, and so God created a mate for him from one of Adam's ribs; Eve arises . Adam shows her paradise, but also holds her back from the tree of knowledge. You will have a carefree time.

One day the snake appears and seduces Eve to taste the tree of knowledge. At first she hesitates, but then she plucks a fruit and bites into it. She offers the frightened Adam the fruit to bite into, which Adam also does.

Realizing their nakedness, they dress in loincloths. In vain do they hide from God. He ordered Eva to give birth to her children in pain from now on; the snake is designed to crawl in the dust. Adam, in turn, is condemned to arduous field work from now on. The sky is darkened; Adam and Eve are driven out of paradise. This is followed by an exhausting walk through the desert, where Adam has to build a simple shelter and laboriously get food. When they return to paradise, it is destroyed by a storm. Adam and Eve are relieved when the storm subsides and the light breaks through the clouds. From then on, it depends on the will of a person whether his life is a paradise.
