Ada Mykolaivna Rohowzewa (born July 16, 1937 in Hluchiw , Sumy Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian theater and film actress.

Life

Ada Rohowzewa was born in Hluchiw , Sumy Oblast and moved with her family first to Odessa during the Second World War and to Kiev before the end of the war. Between 1954 and 1959 she studied acting at the Kiev National University of Theater, Film and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Karyj . From 1959 to 1994 she played at the Kiev Russian Drama Theater Lesja Ukrajinka . She also starred in more than 30 Soviet and Russian film productions, including Natasha in Taming the Fire from 1972.

Rohowzewa is committed to maintaining the unity of Ukraine and the Ukrainian soldiers in the Ukraine war .

She was married to the actor and people 's artist of the USSR Kostjantyn Stepankow ( Степанков Костянтин Петрович ; 1928-2004) and is the mother of two children.
