Adalbert Gimbel (born April 21, 1898 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 4, 1973 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending elementary school, Gimbel learned the bakery trade from 1913. From 1915 he took part in the First World War as a war volunteer . In 1919 he was dismissed as a 50 percent war victim.

In 1922 he became a member of the SA subdivision "Treu-Deutsch" in Frankfurt and on September 1, 1923 he joined the NSDAP. After its dissolution as a result of the Hitler putsch in November 1923, he became a member of the German Party in Frankfurt a. M. and its 2nd managing director. When this dissolved, he joined the National Socialist Freedom Party and, after its dissolution, finally joined the re-founded NSDAP ( membership number 5.250). There he advanced to the Gau managing director.

In 1929 he entered the city parliament of Frankfurt with a mandate from the NSDAP. From 1930 to 1932 he was NSDAP district leader in Wetzlar and Oberlahn .

From November 12, 1933 to November 27, 1942, Gimbel was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 19 (Hessen-Nassau) .

Gimbel also worked as a genealogist . Corresponding publications by him also appeared after the end of the Second World War .
