Adam Dickinson (born November 5, 1986 in Liverpool ) is an English football player who is active for Auckland City FC in the New Zealand Football Championship .

Career

Dickinson grew up in Liverpool and played in the youth team of Tranmere Rovers , but he did not make the leap into the professional squad. In 2006 he moved to Wales to the Gap Connah's Quay Nomads from the Flintshire region , who later renamed Gap Connah's Quay FC . By the end of 2008, Dickinson played 29 games in the League of Wales , scoring 11 goals. In early 2009, the striker moved to Auckland City in the New Zealand league. From July to September 2009 Dickinson played during the league break in New Zealand for the Fijian club Navua FC and then returned to Auckland. By the end of the 2012/2013 season, Dickinson had played 49 league games and scored 10 goals. He was also active in the OFC Champions League for Auckland City, scoring 11 goals in 27 games. Dickinson won the OFC Champions League with Auckland City in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013, and also played five times for his club at the FIFA Club World Cup and scored one goal.
