Adam Friedrich von Schönberg (1654–1707)

Adam Friedrich von Schönberg (born May 6, 1654 in Wingendorf ; † March 6, 1707 ibid) was an electoral Saxon secret councilor and chamberlain as well as the manor owner .

Life

He came from the Saxon noble family von Schönberg and was the son of Hans Georg Schönberg (1610–1676) on Wingendorf and his wife Anna Margaretha nee von Schönberg (1617–1664) from Reinsberg.

Like many of his family members, he embarked on an administrative career in the service of the Wettins . He went to the court in Dresden , where he was first appointed chamberlain and later chamberlain and privy councilor.

He died on March 6, 1707 and was buried in Frankenstein on April 3, 1707. The funeral sermon given by Freiberg superintendent Christian Lehmann then appeared in print.

Adam Friedrich von Schönberg left his three sons Johann Dam, Adam Friedrich and Curt Alexander von Schönberg from his marriage to Augusta Maria Marschall .
