Adam Hofman
Adam Hofman (born May 23, 1980 in Kalisz ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the V and VI since 2005 . Electoral term and was chairman of the Young PiS Forum .
He passed the Abitur at the IV General Education Lyceum " Ignacy Paderewski " in Kalisz and studied political science at the University of Breslau (Wrocław). During his studies he was a member of the Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów (Independent Student Association - NZS) and founded and directed the Student Forum of the University of Wrocław. He was advisor to the Deputy Mayor of Wrocław and worked for the Special Commission of the Sejm to the lobbying law.
In 2004 he ran unsuccessfully for Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) for a mandate in the European Parliament . In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm from the list of PiS for the Konin constituency. On May 15, 2007, he was elected chairman of the commission of inquiry into banks and banking supervision .
In the 2007 Sejm elections , he was confirmed as a member of the PiS with 15,824 votes. He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for State Budget and Sport. He often appeared on television and radio as the party's press secretary.
He belonged to the closest circle of employees of party chairman Kaczyński. His successes led him to lose self-control. During the Senate supplementary elections in Mielec, he bragged about the size of his genitals in front of young women, which soon appeared on television.
During the trip to Madrid for the meeting of the Council of Europe, he flew from Warsaw with an inexpensive airline, but offset his travel expenses with the parliamentary treasury as a trip with his own car, which brought him a significant profit. In addition, his wife got drunk during the flight with vodka she had brought with her, which caused a scandal. In Madrid he signed the list of those present but did not take part in the meeting. For this he was expelled from the PiS party and lost his chances in the 2015 parliamentary election.
