Adam Sebastian Jarubas (born December 17, 1974 in Busko-Zdrój ) is a Polish politician who has been Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and Deputy Chairman of the Polish People's Party (PSL) since 2006 .

Life

Adam Jarubas finished high school in Busko-Zdrój and then studied history at the Akademia Świętokrzyska in Kielce . He later completed this as well as postgraduate studies in administration.

His political career began as an assistant to the Sejm MP Tadeusz Madzia (PSL). In 2006 Jarubas was elected to the Sejmik of the Świętokrzyskie voivodship and was sworn in as voivodeship marshal in 2006, 2010 and 2014 . In the parliamentary elections in 2011 , Jarubas was elected as a member of the Sejm, but did not take up his mandate, so it expired.

On January 31, 2015, the PSL presented him as a candidate for the presidency in the May 2015 election and was also supported by the League of Polish Families . In the end, he reached sixth place with 238,761 votes (1.6%).
