Adam Mortimer Singer

Sir Adam Mortimer Singer (born July 25, 1863 in Yonkers , † June 24, 1929 in Westchester County ) was an Anglo-American philanthropist and athlete.

He was the son of Isaac Merritt Singer .

He was a justice of the peace and was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1920 . In 1921 he served as the High Sheriff of Berkshire .
