Adam Robak

Adam Ryszard Robak (born July 16, 1957 in Warsaw ) is a former Polish foil fencer .

Adam Robak's first great success was the team world championship in foil at the fencing world championships in Hamburg in 1978 . When he participated in the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 , he won the team bronze medal with Lech Koziejowski , Marian Sypniewski and Bogusław Zych , in the individual he was tenth. In 1987 he ended his active career and became a fencing trainer. From 1988 to 1992, Adam Robak worked at the Fecht-Club Grunewald Berlin , in order to advance the Olympic Sports Club Berlin as head coach in the youth and competitive sports area on foil and epee weapons. During his time at the OSC Berlin , Robak was the national coach of the foil wheelchair fencer from 1997 to 2002 and successfully prepared his fencers for numerous European, world and world championships. In 2000, Adam Robak accompanied the national wheelchair team to the Paralympics in Sydney as national coach , his student Esther Weber-Kranz won bronze in the individual and women's floret team. Since September 2006 Adam Robak has been working in Minden for the AS Sport and Health Center as a fencing trainer and fitness trainer.
