Adam Ross

Adam Thayer Ross (born February 15, 1967 in New York City ) is an American journalist and writer.

Life

Ross attended New York's Trinity School in Manhattan and was the best wrestler in New York State in school . As a child star , he has appeared in feature films, commercials, and television shows. His voice was heard on several radio broadcasts.

Ross graduated from Vassar College with honors from the Faculty of English Language . He then went to Hollins University in Virginia and graduated with an MA . He received his MFA from Washington University

In 1995 Ross and his wife moved to Nashville , Tennessee , where they still live with their two daughters today (2011). From 1999 to 2003, Ross was on the city's alternative weekly, the Nashville Scene . His column, Mondo Nashville , dealt with local celebrities and circumstances. So he researched the king of the local porn scene, Al Woods, the problems of racial relations and interviewed the city movie star Reese Witherspoon . He has also written book and film reviews that have appeared in the Nashville Scene, NFocus , POV and Jungle Law . His first short stories appeared in The Carolina Quarterly .
