Adam Black

Adam Schwarz  (* 1990  in  Bülach ) is a Swiss  writer who works with a pseudonym.

Life

Adam Schwarz was born in Bülach in 1990. He studied philosophy and German in Basel and worked as a journalist for the Literary Month , Swiss Month and VICE . He lives in Leipzig and publishes his texts under a pseudonym; his real name is Florian Oegerli.

Adam Schwarz is editor of the Swiss literary magazine Narr and a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland . For the 600th anniversary of Niklaus von Flüe , he wrote the novel Das Fleisch der Welt or The Discovery of America by Niklaus von Flüe , which was published by Zytglogge Verlag in 2017 .

In 2017 he received a work grant from the Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia . In the same year he was nominated for the "Aargau 2050" literary prize of the Aargauer Literaturhaus.
