Adam Werner von Heyden

Adam Werner von Heyden, Count von Cartlow (born November 22, 1852 in Kartlow ; † January 4, 1888 ibid) was district administrator of the Demmin district .

Life

Adam Werner von Heyden was the fourth son of Woldemar von Heyden (1809–1871) to Cartlow and his wife Athalie (1814–1873), née Fränkel. He was taught first by a private tutor, the school attended in Anklam and then studied at the University of Goettingen law . Since 1871 he was a member of the Corps Pomerania Greifswald . Later he worked for the government in Merseburg , among others .

After the death of his father, he was the last born son to inherit the Fideikommiss Cartlow established by the father . Associated with this was the Prussian title of count, which he was the first to wear in the von Heyden family. According to the statutes, he could only take over the management of the property, which had been administered by a board of trustees until then, at the age of 25.

In 1883 he was elected district administrator of the Demmin district. At that time he was already suffering from a stomach disease, which he succumbed to in 1888.

Adam Werner von Heyden had been married to Marie von Tiedemann (1853–1944), the daughter of the Privy Councilor of Tiedemann , since 1875 . The couple had two daughters and two sons.
