Adam of Adelon

Adam of Adelon , also Adam of Gibelet-Besmedin († around 1198), was Lord of Adelon in the Kingdom of Jerusalem .

He was the younger son of Hugo von Gibelet († after 1220), Lord of Besmedin, and his wife Agnes von Ham. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm von Gibelet († after 1204), son of Wilhelm II. Embriaco , Lord of Gibelet , and Fadie, daughter of Manasses von Hierges . His maternal grandfather was Gerhard von Ham , constable of Tripoli .

In the course of the 1190s Adelon was raised to rule and Adam was enfeoffed by the King of Jerusalem .
