The Adams Rocks are two large pinnacles that tower over the inner section of Block Bay . They are 11 km west of Mount June in the Phillips Mountains of the Ford Ranges in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica .
They were mapped during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941), by surveying work by the United States Geological Survey and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them after James G. Adams , Construction workers at Byrd Station in 1967.
