Adaptiv (real names: Philipp Polley, Christian Klinckwort) are a German artist and producer duo of electronic dance music from Hanover .
biography
Adaptiv was founded in 2013 as a DJ trio in Hanover.
In 2013, Adaptiv's Philipp Polley launched the Holi Farbrausch festival tour together with the event agency Justa Event . Adaptiv accompanied the tour as DJs, presenters and co-organizers until December 31, 2018. At the Holi Festival in Germany, the guests dance to electronic music and during the hourly color countdowns they make themselves colorful with colored powder, the so-called Gulal powder . The tour makes stops in Hanover, Osnabrück, Paderborn, Göttingen and Marburg, among others.
Her most famous remix was for Robin Schulz 'chart hit Sun Goes Down in 2015. The song was first published unofficially by Adaptiv on the artist channels. It was only through the international support of Robin Schulz at festivals such as Tomorrowland , Mayday (event) or the BigCityBeats World Club Dome that the production gained a lot of attention, whereby the remix was subsequently licensed via WePlay / Tonspiel. The remix was also a musical component in Robin Schulz - The Movie . Her own production Chinatown was created in 2016 together with Andrew Belize . The single was released on RUN DBN Records, the record label of DBN (band) and was hailed by the press as "energetic" and "future house anthem".
Adaptiv are active as DJs at many electronic music festivals. For example, the Parookaville , Nature One or Ruhr in Love are among her references. But the DJ duo also has international engagements, such as the EDEM Club in Corfu or the Oceanbeat in Ibiza.
Adaptiv have also been active as DJs for Volkswagen AG since 2017 . Her involvement in the Volkswagen Bulli Parade on August 6, 2017 caused a sensation when a big party was held with important people from the Group and politics during the emissions scandal .
The third founding member Oliver Artmann left the DJ team in 2017.
