Adele Gerber
Adele Gerber (born August 21, 1863 in Vienna ; † August 6, 1937 there ) was an Austrian editor and women's rights activist .
Live and act
Adele Gerber founded the Austrian women's rights protection organization together with Auguste Fickert and advocated the visit of girls to high schools.
Gerber was editor of the magazine Neues Frauenleben , in which she published numerous articles. In 1903 she was elected to the management of the General Austrian Women's Association, of which she also became president. She also acted as the publisher and editor in charge of the postal authority: an independent body of the centrally organized postmasters, travel agents, officers and aspirants of Austria .
In 1919 Gerber ran for the "German Democratic Party", then headed by Julius Ofner .
