Adelmo Tacconi

Adelmo Tacconi (born November 20, 1915 in Roccastrada , † September 16, 2003 in Grosseto ) was an Italian Catholic clergyman and bishop of Grosseto .

Life

Adelmo Tacconi was ordained a priest on February 3, 1940 . Paul VI appointed him auxiliary bishop in Sovana and Pitigliano and titular bishop of Sinna on April 23, 1970 .

The Apostolic Administrator of Grosseto and Sovana e Pitigliano , Primo Gasbarri , consecrated him bishop on June 21 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Fiorenzo Angelini , in charge of hospital pastoral care in Rome , and Giuseppe Marafini , Bishop of Veroli-Frosinone .

The Pope appointed him auxiliary bishop in Grosseto in 1975. On March 23, 1979 he was appointed Bishop of Grosseto. John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on July 20, 1991.
