Previous model Adler Standard 6

The Adler Favorit is a car model that the Adlerwerke brought out in November 1928. The structure and engine followed the same pattern as the standard 6A six-cylinder model released a year earlier . The rear-wheel drive car , also known as the Adler 8/35 PS (models 8J, 2S and 2A) after the German tax horsepower , only had a four-cylinder engine . This first model was sold 13,959 times by 1933.

Only 274 vehicles of the much improved successor model 2U with low-bed box frame, independent front suspension and four-speed gearbox were built until 1934.
