Adolf Duda

Adolf Duda (born May 2, 1878 in Sternberg , Moravia , † May 27, 1940 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SDAP).

After attending a weaving school, Adolf Duda worked as a textile worker in Lower Austria and then became a union secretary . He was taken prisoner by Russia at the beginning of the First World War in 1914. After the October Revolution of 1917, he worked for the German magazine of the soldiers' councils in Moscow. From 1919 to 1926 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria and from November 20, 1923 to May 4, 1932 a member of the National Council . In addition, from 1925 he was the central secretary of the Association of Small Farmers.
