Adolf Feuring

Adolf Feuring (born February 15, 1902 in Niederlaasphe ; † June 7, 1998 in Altena ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After attending school, Feuring completed an apprenticeship with the Reichsbahn from 1918 to 1922. He then entered the Prussian civil service and worked for state authorities since 1925, including in Hamburg . In 1939 he was employed as an administrative officer at the Reichsstatthalter in Reichenberg . From 1943 to 1945 he took part in World War II as a soldier and was most recently taken prisoner.

After his release from captivity, Feuring worked from 1947 to 1950 as an administrative officer in the Arnsberg administrative district . He then held office as the senior district director of the Altena district . In 1958 Feuring was awarded the DRK badge of honor by the DRK regional association Westphalia-Lippe. He was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class (1967).

Feuring joined the DDP in 1922 , which in 1930 became the German State Party (DStP). In 1937 he joined the NSDAP as chief district inspector ( membership number 4,051,667). In 1946 he joined the SPD.

Feuring moved up on January 2, 1967 for the resigned MP Udo Hein on the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia in the German Bundestag, to which he belonged until 1969.
