Adolf Grugger (born January 11, 1975 ) is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Career

Grugger started in the Continental Cup (COC) in 1992 . In his first season he scored 12 COC points and ended the 1992/93 season in 59th place in the overall ranking. In the 1993/94 season he reached a total of 407 points and ended the season in seventh place in the overall COC ranking. Because of these good performances, he was accepted into the team for the Ski Jumping World Cup in 1994 . On January 4th, 1994, he competed in his first World Cup competition in Innsbruck and, with 29th place, was able to win his first two World Cup points in this competition. However, Grugger was still only part of the Continental Cup squad and until 1997 only jumped in the World Cup in competitions in Austria. On March 22, 1997 he was able to achieve World Cup points again with 29th place in his only World Cup outside of Austria with ski flying in Planica and ended the 1996/97 World Cup season in 99th place overall. On January 6, 1998, he jumped in the World Cup for the last time in Bischofshofen . He reached the 41st place on the large hill. Grugger then jumped in the Continental Cup for two more years and ended his active ski jumping career in 1999, as he was largely unsuccessful there too.
