Adolf Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering (* before 1677; † September 14, 1724 in Münster ) was cathedral cantor in the prince-bishopric of Münster.

Life

Origin and family

As the son of the married couple Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering (1616–1678) and Anna von Lülsdorf zum Haan (1625–1710), Adolf Heidenreich grew up with his brothers Christoph , Jobst Gottfried and Heidenreich Ludwig in the ancient Westphalian noble family Droste zu Vischering . His uncle Goswin was a dombursar and an official in Dülmen.

Professional background

Before Adolf Heidenreich completed the biennium in Paris with a certificate of study (October 20, 1677), on February 27, 1677 he received the papal commission for the Münster prebend from the Paderborn cathedral dean von Ketteler. Before 1689 he held the office of chief hunter . On March 27, 1677 the revolt to the families Droste, Lülsdorf, Raesfeld and Quadt took place. In the years before 1689 he held the office of chief hunter . On February 28, 1693 he received the archdeaconate "Auf dem Drein" from the bishop after Heinrich von Korff called Schmising had left. On March 16, 1694, he was given the option of Obedience Schwienhorst and on February 25, 1699 of the Archdeaconate Albersloh. “Auf dem Drein” was abandoned in order to keep the cathedral choir in Münster. Droste had a cathedral canonical in Osnabrück since 1655; he gave up before 1681. On July 29, 1699 he received the cathedral praise in Paderborn. He was ordained a sub-deacon. On May 26, 1720, Adolf Heidenreich appointed his cousin Adolf Heinrich (canon in Münster and Minden) as the sole heir in his will.
