Adolf Schmid (born January 1, 1905 in Giengen an der Brenz , † after 1944) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending elementary school and high school, Schmid completed commercial training.

In 1923 Schmid joined the NSDAP. In 1931 he became editor of the Baden party newspaper of the NSDAP, Der Fuehrer , before serving as the main editor of this organ from March to August 1933. In August 1933 he was appointed press officer at the Reich Propaganda Office in Baden. In October 1934 he was promoted to head of this office and to the Baden Gau propaganda leader of the NSDAP.

On December 12, 1938, Schmid joined the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag in the replacement procedure for the resigned Hackelsberger , in which he represented constituency 32 (Baden) until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945. Since 1930 he was also a member of the city council of Baden-Baden .
