Adolf Thesmacher

Adolf Thesmacher (born February 19, 1880 in Oldenburg ; † April 29, 1948 in Bremen - Borgfeld ) was a German architect .

Life

Thesmacher worked in Stettin from around 1920 to 1938, primarily in the modern style . He lived in the self-designed house Mörikeweg 12 in Stettin-Neuwestend (today: Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 12, Szczecin), which was shown in the address book of Stettin as the architect's place of residence in 1936: “Adolf Thesmacher, architect, member of the RKdbK, Am Königstor 8 . Tel. 20216 Apartment: Mörikeweg 12. "

Thesmacher died in 1948 and was buried in the cemetery in Borgfeld.

  • 1926: Coking coal tower of the Szczecin gas works in Stettin-Pommerensdorf (ul.Koksowa 5)
  • 1928–1931: Kreuzkirche in Werderstrasse, Stettin-Westend (Królowej Korony Polskiej 27)

  • 1930: Bank building for the Pommern Provincial Bank in Stralsund , Alter Markt 4 / Knieper Strasse (used as a union building since 1990, a listed building )
