Adolf VII (Schaumburg)

Adolf VII (* 1297 ; † 1353 ) was the eldest son of Adolf VI. and Helene von Sachsen-Lauenburg . He ruled Holstein-Pinneberg and the county of Schauenburg from 1315 to 1353. His eldest son, who later became Adolf VIII , succeeded him as ruler.

He was married twice. His first wife was Hedwig von Schwalenberg. His second wife was Heilwig zur Lippe († August 26, 1364/1369), daughter of Simon I , whom he married in 1322. The couple had the following children:
