Adolf Wendt (painter)

Adolf Wendt (born October 10, 1871 in Schwerin , † 1953 ) was a German painter and etcher .

Life

Wendt was a doctor of dentistry. He acquired the skill of painting self- taught . His work consists mainly of portraits, flower paintings and landscapes. In 1939 he took part in the Great German Art Exhibition in the new Munich Glass Palace ( House of German Art ) with a still life with a rabbit and in 1940 with a still life with a white chicken . He had already taken part in exhibitions in Munich since at least 1921.
