Adolf Wisselinck

Adolf Wisselinck (born November 1, 1832 in Krockow , Neustadt district in West Prussia ; † December 8, 1888 ) was a German judge and politician.

Life

Adolf Wisselinck studied law and political science at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In 1851 he became a member of the Corps Littuania . After completing his studies, he initially pursued a career as a judge and in 1864 became a district judge in Marienburg . In 1877 he became mayor and later mayor of Thorn , where he died in office at the age of 56.

From 1873 to 1879, Wisselinck sat as a member of the constituency of Danzig 1 (Elbing, Marienburg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party . He promoted the cooperative system and wrote socio-political and economic publications.
