Karl Adolf Leopold von Bülow (born January 11, 1837 in Berlin , † October 12, 1907 in Potsdam ) was a Prussian officer , most recently a general of the cavalry and adjudant general à la suite of the 3rd Uhlan Regiment.

Life

Adolf von Bülow came from the Mecklenburg nobility of the von Bülow family . He was the third child of the Prussian Secret Legation Councilor Friedrich Karl von Bülow (1789-1853) and his second wife Pauline von Carlowitz. The Prussian Major General Albert von Bülow (1829-1892) was his older brother. After finishing school, like many of his family members, he embarked on a military career with the Prussian army. From January 27, 1895 to January 1, 1896 he was the commanding general of the VIII. Army Corps in Koblenz , then from January 2, 1896 to January 26, 1902 , he was the commanding general of the XIV. Corps .

In 1880 he married Mathilde Verw. Freifrau von der Heydt, b. from Balan. This marriage produced five children. Adolf von Bülow died in Potsdam at the age of 70.
