Robert Rey (born April 8, 1929 ) is a former French ski jumper .

Career

Rey, who was part of the French national team from 1959 to 1962, made his international debut with the start of the Four Hills Tournament in 1959/60 . In the second competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he achieved his best tour result with 17th place. In the overall ranking he was 33rd after further mixed results.

At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, he jumped to 38th place.

In his second and last Four Hills Tournament in 1960/61 he could not build on the performance from the previous year and reached 47th place overall. At his first and last Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane in 1962 , Rey jumped off the large hill again in 56th place with 80.5 and 85 meters. A few days later he jumped from the normal hill to 61 and 63 meters and came in 48th place.

Robert's brother Régis Rey was also active as a ski jumper.
