Adolfo Luís Bossi

Adolfo Luís Bossi OFMCap (born June 23, 1908 in Sesto San Giovanni ; † May 8, 2002 ) was an Italian religious and prelate of São José do Grajaú .

Life

Adolfo Luís Bossi joined the religious order of the Capuchins and was ordained a priest on July 23, 1933 .

Pius XII. appointed him on June 18, 1958 coadjutor prelate of São José do Grajaú and titular bishop of Parnassus . The Archbishop of Milan , Giovanni Battista Montini , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14th of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Guregh Hovhannes Zohrabian OFMCap, auxiliary bishop in Cilicia , and Egidio Luigi Lanzo OFMCap, bishop of Saluzzo .

He participated in the second to fourth session of the Second Vatican Council as a council father. When Emiliano Giuseppe Lonati's OFMCap retired on February 19, 1966, he succeeded him as prelate of São José do Grajaú. He resigned from his office on August 22, 1970.
