The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saluzzo ( lat. Dioecesis Salutiarum , ital. Diocese of Saluzzo ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Saluzzo .
history
The diocese of Saluzzo was established on October 29, 1511 by Pope Julius II with the Apostolic Constitution Pro excellenti from cessions of territory from the diocese of Mondovì and placed directly under the Holy See . On October 30, 1629 the seminary of the diocese of Saluzzo was established.
The Diocese of Saluzzo was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Turin as a suffragan in 1803 .
