Adolph Lesser

Gustav Adolph Eduard Lesser (born January 1, 1819 in Berlin ; † October 21, 1898 ) was a German judge .

Life

Lesser studied law in Bonn and became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn in 1837 . He was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign in 1839. In 1841 he became a trainee lawyer at the High Court . In 1844 he was appointed court assessor at the Stettin Higher Regional Court. In 1846 he came back to the Supreme Court. In 1850/51 he came to Neisse as a district judge . In 1856/57 he was promoted to the city and district judge in Magdeburg. In 1863 he came to Posen as a judge of appeal and in 1867 as a judge of the chamber judge in Berlin. In 1870 he became a senior tribunal councilor . In 1879 he came to the newly established Imperial Court . As a judge he was assigned to the IV Civil Senate of the Imperial Court . He retired in 1887. The dermatologist Edmund Lesser was his son.
