Wilhelm Gustav Adolph Freiherr von Malapert-Neufville (born January 28, 1787 in Frankfurt am Main , † June 12, 1862 in Wiesbaden ) was government director and member of the Nassau state parliament.

family

Adolph von Malapert-Neufville was the son of the royal Prussian chamberlain Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Malapert-Neufville (April 26, 1775 in Frankfurt am Main; † January 2, 1818 there) and his wife Susanne Elisabeth née Edele von Schneider (May 5, 1756 in Frankfurt am Main; † April 26, 1831 ibid). The senior mayor of Frankfurt Friedrich Philipp Wilhelm von Malapert was his brother.

Adolph von Malapert-Neufville, who was a Protestant denomination, married the Catholic Antoniette born Schlinck on December 23, 1832 in Wiesbaden (October 14, 1808 in Koblenz; † February 23, 1892 in Wiesbaden). The following children were born from the marriage:

  • Anna Catharina Hill (* 1833), married Carl Johann Adam Hill in 1851
  • Philipp Anton Felix von Malapert-Neufville (* 1834), doctor
  • Susanna Maria Kleinschmit (1836–1905), married the Royal Prussian Major General Julius von Kleinschmit in 1854
  • Antonia Juliana Musset (* 1837), married Major Heinrich Joseph Musset in 1855
  • Friedrich Carl Reinhold Freiherr von Malapert called von Neufville (* 1839), Lieutenant
  • Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Malapert called von Neufville (* 1842), Lieutenant
  • Ludwig Gustav Robert Freiherr von Malapert called von Neufville (1846-1892), Dr. phil., Royal Prussian lieutenant.

Life

From 1806 he was a Nassau court squire and from 1807 he was the chief director of the Wiesbaden theater. From 1809 to 1810 he served as an accessist at the Wiesbaden court . He was appointed chamberlain and a member of the court marshal's office. In the wars of liberation he was first lieutenant and adjutant of the voluntary hunter corps from 1813-1814.

From 1814 to 1820 he was bailiff and judicial advisor in the Braubach office and was appointed chamberlain . From 1820 to 1826 he was a councilor in Wiesbaden before he was appointed Privy Councilor and Councilor in 1827 . From 1832 he was the first director of the state government and was retired in 1847.

MP

From 1831 to 1845 he was a representative of Prince von der Leyen in the first chamber of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau . From 1846 to 1848 he was an elected member of the first chamber.
