Adramelech is a death metal band from Loimaa in Finland . Similar to their Finnish colleagues Demilich , the band plays Death Metal with sometimes melodic guitars.

Band name

For the origin of the band name see Adramelech . The band is not to be confused with the Italian power metal band Adramelch .

history

The band was founded in 1991, but took until 1996 for their debut album. In the meantime two demos and an EP have been released. After a long break, a mini album called The Fall followed , which was only released as a 3 "CD format via Repulse Records . In 1996, the debut album Psychostasia was also released on Repulse Records . In 1998 a major tour followed with Deeds of Flesh , Incantation and Avulsed .

For the second album Pure Blood Doom Adramelech founded their own label ( Severe Music ), which no longer exists today. Therefore the band is under contract with the Spanish Xtreem Music label. The band's albums were all recorded in the Tico-Tico-Studio, one of the most famous metal music studios in Finland, where Impaled Nazarene and Sentenced have already recorded.

Despite the current inactivity, the band has not officially disbanded, but is only taking a break of indefinite length according to the information on their MySpace page.
