history

The band was formed in 1987 by drummer Gianluca Corona, bassist Franco Avalli and guitarist Lorenzo Marconi. A little later, singer Vittorio Ballerio joined the cast. In the beginning they only played cover versions of Queensrÿche , Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath , until they finally decided to develop their own songs. In September the line-up changed significantly: Corona switched from drums to electric guitar and Luca Moretti joined the band as the new drummer. Guitarist Marconi left the band and was replaced by Sandro Fremiot. The group spent the next six months developing and rehearsing new songs. The band then went to the Hammill Studio in Milan to record their first demo, Irae Melanox . This made LM Records aware of the band, which made the band heard on the Heavy Eendezvous compilation with Creepin 'Death , Moon of Steel and Drunkards . In addition, the band played more concerts in the area of Milan. After that, the band reached a contract with Metal Master Records and recorded the album Irae Melanox in June 1988 . After the release in the same year, bassist Franco Avalli and drummer Luca Moretti had to leave the band to do their military service. As a result, the band took a break, so that the remaining members could devote themselves to other projects.

In July 2003 guitarist Gianluca Corona, bassist Franco Avalli and singer Vittorio Ballerio got together again to work on a second album. Instead of a second guitarist, keyboardist Davide Doviti was now represented in the band. Sigfrido Percich joined the line-up as the new drummer and Andrea Volontè as the new guitarist. In July 2004 the band performed at the Headbangers Open Air in Hamburg . At the end of the summer bassist Avalli left the band, followed shortly after by Andrea Volontè. In September 2004 Fabio Troiani joined the band as the new guitarist, followed by bassist Maurizio Lietti a few weeks later. In January 2005 the band signed a contract with Underground Symphony . The next album Broken History was recorded and mixed by Luigi Stefanini in February 2005 at the New Sin Studio in Loria and released in September. In 2005 the band held a few appearances, such as on the German Keep It True or the Metal Legions Attack in Vicenza, Italy . Meanwhile the band also worked on new songs. In January 2006, further appearances in Würzburg and Kaiserslautern followed . The band also played some new songs. A concert in Milan followed in March.

In the following two years the band concentrated mainly on the production of the new songs , along with a few appearances such as the German Bang Your Head in 2007, the Up the Hammers Festival in Athens and the Play It Loud . In June 2009 the pre-production of the new songs was finished, so that in March 2010 they recorded the new album Lights from Oblivion . The recording and mixing was finished in October. In the same month, a new edition of Irae Melanox was also released .

In summer 2011 bassist Maurizio "Mau" Lietti had to leave the band due to work and was replaced in November 2011 by Sarmax. In February 2012 the band signed a deal with Pure Prog Records to release the album Lights from Oblivion on April 27th. On the release date, the band performed on the 15th edition of Keep It True.
