Adriana Krnáčová (born September 26, 1960 in Bratislava ) is a Czech politician. From November 2014 to November 2018 she was Lord Mayor of the capital Prague .

Born in Slovakia, she studied fine arts and languages ​​at the Comenius University in Bratislava . Krnáčová also took courses at the University of Michigan and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DePaul University in Chicago.

From 2000 to 2007, Krnáčová headed Transparency International Czech Republic . From 2007 to 2009 she worked at Johnson & Johnson . Afterwards she was the managing director and owner of the company BlueOceanSolutions.

On March 14, 2014, the Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec appointed her as his deputy for public administration and the legislature. In the 2014 local elections she was the top candidate for the ANO party in 2011 for Prague and was elected to the city council. On November 26th, Krnáčová became the first woman to take office as mayor. The Blanka tunnel complex was completed during her term of office . Krnáčová announced in April 2018 that he would not run for a second term and would withdraw from politics.
