Afghanistan Connection (original title: I giorni dell'inferno ) is a war film directed by Tonino Ricci in 1985 , which was first released on video in Germany on December 22, 1986.

Afghanistan, early 1980s. General Smith assigns four mercenaries to search for Professor Sanders and his daughter Samantha, who are being held captive by Russian soldiers. It soon turns out that the scientist had tracked down chemical weapons production and is now to be prevented from telling the world this truth. Captain Williamson and his people remove anything and everything that stands in the way of their plan to free the prisoners. When they reach their destination, the two abductees are in the hands of Afghan rebels, from which they are now freed by the mercenaries. The professor dies during the actions. Samantha and the mercenary Amin can be flown out of the dangerous area by helicopter.
