Agawang is a parish village and part of the municipality of Kutzenhausen in the Augsburg district in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria . The village of Unterefsried belongs to the district .

location

Agawang is located on the A1 Augsburg-Dinkelscherben district road. The nearest train stations are in Gessertshausen and Kutzenhausen . The Augsburger Verkehrsverbund (AVV) maintains the non-clocked bus schedule for line 507 to Augsburg on weekdays.

history

The history of Agawang probably begins between the 9th and 12th centuries. During this time the three individual settlements of the place were founded, namely Agawang, Obernefsried and Unterstefsried. In the Agawang exercised Domstift Augsburg , the basic rule out.
