Aglipay is a municipality in the Philippine province of Quirino .
geography
Aglipay is influenced by two types of climates. The Sierra Madre mountains in the south-east of the municipality are classified as climate type IV, with rainfall evenly distributed over the year. The rest are counted as climate type III, which is characterized by two distinct seasons, the dry season from January to April and the rainy season from May to December.

The township of Aglipay was formed on November 11, 1950.
Population structure and development
In 1990 Aglipay had a population of 16,419, the population increased to 20,115 by 1995, to 21,774 by 2000 and to 25,069 by 2007 (both census results).
The most widely spoken language is Ilokano followed by Ifugao and a smaller number of speakers of the languages Tagalog , Ilongot , Ibaloi , Kankanai , Aklanon , Kankaney , Bontok and Bikol as well as other local languages.

The majority of the population lives from agriculture, the main products of which are rice , maize and bananas .
The road network has a total length of around 124 km, of which around 31 km are paved concrete roads.
Attractions
In Aglipay there is the Aglipay Cave, which is accessible to tourists and consists of 37 cave chambers, and a campsite is located near the cave.
