Agnelli & Nelson is a trance project from Northern Ireland , consisting of Christoper James Agnew and Robert Frederick Nelson . The duo is also known by the pseudonyms A&N Project , Afterburn , Cortez and Quincey & Sonance .
Career
Agnelli & Nelson have been producing trance music together since 1997. They had their first success in 1998 with the single "El Niño", which came to number 21 on the UK singles chart . The follow-up single "Everyday" reached number 17 in the British charts in 1999. Both songs are very typical of the Balearic Trance subgenre and are nowadays generally regarded as trance classics. Agnelli & Nelson have had seven singles in the British charts to date, five of them in the top 40. Most recently, the single "Holding on to Nothing" with vocals by singer Audrey Gallagher came in at number 41 in 2004 .
The Northern Irish duo has also produced numerous remixes. You have remixed Ferry Corsten , Armin van Buuren , Chicane and U2 , among others . Her remix of John O'Callaghan's "Big Sky" was voted Tune of the Year 2007 by Armin van Buuren's popular radio show A State of Trance .
