Audrey Gallagher is a singer from Derry , Northern Ireland .

Life

Gallagher was the singer of the alternative rock band Scheer . Her first album Infliction was released in 1996 on the 4AD label . In 1997 they began to work on their second album, but the release was postponed due to contractual differences between Scheer and 4AD. In the end, the now appropriately named second and final album ... and finally was distributed in 2000 via the record label Schism Records , which was founded by band member Peter Fleming. Gallagher continued the Lima project with bandmate Neal Calderwood , but only the song Intoxicate was released via Schism Records .

Together with Agnelli & Nelson she recorded the single Holding on to Nothing in 2004 . She is artistically involved in the 2007 single Big Sky by John O'Callaghan as well as in the song Freefalling with Claudia Cazacu , which was co-released on the album A State of Trance 2009 by Armin van Buuren . She was also the singer for the song Hold on to Me by Armin van Buuren and You Walk Away by TyDi . Sometimes she recorded her songs under the stage name Aureus .

The song Big Sky was a trance - Anthem chosen the year. The remix of Big Sky by Agnelli & Nelson was voted Tune of The Year by Armin van Buuren's radio show A State of Trance in 2007. The title received a total of 1415 votes and 4703 points.
