Agustín Lucas Teixeira (born October 19, 1985 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player and writer .

Career

society

The 1.84-meter-tall defensive player Lucas already played in the junior teams of Miramar Misiones and then belonged to the professional squad at the beginning of his career until mid-2008. From May 2004 to June 2008 he was team captain of the Montevideans. In 2008 and the Clausura 2009 a career station was recorded with the Montevideo Wanderers . In the 2009/10 season he played six games (no goal) in the Primera División for Cerro Largo FC . He left East Uruguay at the beginning of February 2010 to take up a job in Guatemala at Deportivo Jalapa . In July 2010 he joined Deportivo Anzoátegui in Venezuela . There he ran twelve times (no goal) in the Primera División . From August 2011 to mid-July 2013 he was in the ranks of the Uruguayan second division club Sud América from Montevideo. He then continued his career in Argentina with Comunicaciones . For the Argentines, he completed 18 games in Primera B Metropolitana and scored one goal. At the end of July 2014, he joined the Uruguayan club Liverpool Montevideo , which had previously been relegated from the Primera División . In the 2014/15 season he was used nine times (no goal) in the Segunda División and rose at the end of the season with the club in the top Uruguayan league. In August 2015, he returned to the starting point of his career and rejoined the second division Miramar Misiones. In the 2015/16 season he played 13 second division games and scored once in the opposing goal.

National team

At least in June 2007, Lucas was a member of the Uruguayan U-23 team, which was overseen by Roland Marcenaro .
