Ahmad Jaafar Raed

Ahmad Jaafar Raed ( Persian جعفر رائد; bl. 1972 - 1994 ) was an Iranian diplomat and publisher.

He attended Ohio State University .

Career

He entered the foreign service of the Pahlavi dynasty . From January 19, 1972 to April 1979, he was ambassador to Jeddah and at the same time also accredited to Sanaa . At the time of the Islamic Revolution , he emigrated to London. In 1980 he founded the Center for Arab and Iranian Studies here with the monthly magazine Persisch روزگار نو"Rouzegar-e Now," enlivening the culture of gossip as a public relations tool for the Saud dynasty . He soon shared the publishing house of "Rouzegar-e Now" with the imperial cultural attaché Esmail Pourvali in Paris , where in 1996 the dissolution of the company was announced
