Ahn Sung-ki (born January 1, 1952 in Daegu , South Korea ) is a South Korean actor .
biography
Ahn Sung-ki was born on January 1st, 1952 in Daegu. As a child he was seen in films. He graduated from Kyundong Junior High School and later attended Hankuk Foreign Language University . From 1974 to 1976 he did his military service as an artillery officer in the South Korean armed forces . Ahn is a UNICEF ambassador and is one of the first Korean performers to be immortalized in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater on June 23, 2012 .
Awards
- 1960 Best Child Actor at the San Francisco International Film Festival for Defiance of a Teenager .
- In 1990 he received the Blue Dragon Award for his performance in the film Nambugun for Best Actor.
- In 1993 he was named Best Actor at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival for his performance in the film White Badge .
- In 2007 he was awarded the Daejong Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film Radio Star .
