The Ahrensee is a lake in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in the German state Schleswig-Holstein, southeast of the village of Achterwehr . The lake is about 55 hectares and up to 10.2 m deep. There is a swimming area at the Ahrensee. The lake is in the nature reserve Ahrensee and northeastern Westensee .
