Aida Rustamowna Bajasitowa ( Russian Аида Рустамовна Баязитова ; born March 29, 1998 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Bajasitowa started in November 2011 Vershina Tjoi for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup and finished 121st place over 5 km classic and 110th and 101st place in the sprint. In February 2016 in Moscow she achieved tenth place in the sprint, her first top ten place in the Eastern Europe Cup. At the 2018 Junior World Ski Championships in Goms , she came 27th in sprint, 19th in skiathlon and 18th over 5 km classic. In March 2018, she became Russian junior champion in sprint, skiathlon and over 5 km freestyle. After three placements in the top ten at the Eastern Europe Cup, including second place in the sprint in Werschina Tjoi at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, she started the cross-country skiing world cup in Dresden for the first time in January 2019 . There she got her first World Cup points with the 24th place in the sprint. In February 2019, she took her first victory in the Eastern Europe Cup in the sprint in Syktywkar and finally achieved sixth place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup.
