Aidan Moffat

Aidan John Moffat (born April 10, 1973 in Falkirk ) is a Scottish musician and singer. He became known on the side of Malcolm Middleton as the singer of the band Arab Strap .

Career

Moffat grew up in Falkirk, Scotland . At the age of 17 he dropped out of school without a degree and worked in a record store from then on. From 1995 he began to make music together with Malcolm Middleton in the band Arab Strap . From 2002 he started a solo career and released his debut album Hypnogogia under the stage name Lucky Pierre . Since the second album appeared under the stage name L. Pierre . In 2007 he published the album I Can Hear Your Heart under his real name , which contains spoken erotic poems, which are underlaid by sound collages.

Moffat is particularly known for his abundant facial hair .

Moffat lives in the Hyndland district of Glasgow .
