Aigialeus (son of Adrastus)
Aigialeus ( Greek Αἰγιαλεύς ) was in Greek mythology the son of Adrastos and Amphithea or Demonassa . He fathered with a Neleiden the Aigialeia and Kyanippos .
He was the only one of the epigones who died while conquering Thebes . He was killed by Laodamas . His body was buried in Pigai, a place near Megara , and worshiped there as a hero . A phyle in Sicyon is said to have been named after him Aigialus .
