Aileen Meagher
Aileen Aletha Meagher (born November 26, 1910 in Halifax , Nova Scotia , † August 2, 1987 ibid) was a Canadian athlete and Olympic participant.
In 1934 she won the silver medal over 220 yards at the British Empire Games in London , behind the Englishwoman Eileen Hiscock (gold) and ahead of the Englishwoman Nellie Halstead (bronze).
At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , she won the team bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay race together with her teammates Dorothy Brookshaw , Mildred Dolson and Hilda Cameron , behind the team from the USA and the team from Great Britain .
